I debug
I like taking on big, complex, ambiguous problems and finding the best solutions to them. I follow them where they take me, into code, onto a breadboard, on a long reddit thread, in three books each on a different topic, on a 3:30am youtube video hunt, or an over-350-messages long chat with 3 different LLMs simultaneously.
02 — How I solve & build
I plan like I'd have to explain
it in a deposition
Whether it's a hard problem to crack or a product to ship, it starts the same way — with a plan I'd stake my name on. Planning is the whole journey, and I obsess over every mile of it. I navigate and (at times) drive (which explains a lot), and every failed assumption is a wrong turn, a U-turn, and a fresh route, narrated by a GPS that clearly doesn't respect me. I build wide as much as far — every requirement generalized into the system it belongs to, so a wrong guess is a re-route, not a rebuild.

03 — My Work
First principles, all the way down
Give me a hard, ambiguous problem and I'll take it apart to its fundamentals before I build anything. First principles over convention — I reason up from what's true, not sideways from what's familiar.
Design for optionality
Generalize the problem, build it open, and let the right answer emerge — so pivoting stays cheap.
04 — Personal Projects
I build to understand
I learn through projects. Give me a curiosity and I'll turn it into something I can solder, print, or program — because making a thing teaches me what a tutorial never could.
Smart-lights on an ESP32
A microcontroller rig plus a custom app to control the lights — built because I wanted it to exist.
3D-printed fixes
Brackets to hang my speakers, and a growing pile of small printed solutions to real annoyances.

Where I stop optimizing
Where I get to create for the sake of creating — no brief, no spec, just expression.
Many instruments
Guitar, piano, drums, flute, harmonica — and whatever I pick up next.
Passion over precision.
To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable.

Why AI-first is probably not a good idea
AI-first has quietly become a reflex — bolt a model onto everything. But if a problem is already solved with plain math, reaching for AI is slower, pricier and less accurate. Here's where I think it actually belongs.
